Happy Hour for Community Power
On May 5th, SOCM members young and old gathered at the Cafe Citron lounge in Washington, DC for an evening of friends, laughter and cocktails to raise funds to support SOCM’s efforts to end mountaintop removal and usher in a new, green-collar economy in Tennessee! The event was a huge success. Over $1000 was raised and over 50 unsuspecting club goers were educated on mountaintop removal issues. Thanks to all who came out and supported our fundraiser in DC!
