SOCM has a well-established tradition of effectively lobbying legislators to do the right thing. This year, our lobbying efforts are more important than ever. We are fighting social, economic and environmental injustice across the board.

We Need You.

Lobby Day includes extensive training on how to lobby and meetings with legislators on bills that prevent mining on the toxic Sewanee coal seam, hold coal operators accountable for permit violations, and curb mountaintop removal in Tennessee.
