The Alliance for Appalachia is hosting a weekend leadership training. This is a great opportunity for community leadership development, put on by a partner organization. SOCM will be an integral part of the event, with Keynote speaker Maureen O'Connell (former SOCM Director) volunteering her time, and workshops facilitated by various SOCM folks, such as member Boomer Winfrey, O'Connell, and SOCM organizer Ann League.
