Communication and Privacy
How do we use your contact information?
Communication with our members and supporters is a critical part of our work. To do this effectively we encourage members and supporters to sign up for our e-communications and to opt-in to text message alerts.
While communication is critical, we don't want to clog inboxes with too many unnecessary emails or texts! When you sign up you will receive:

A weekly "Bulletin" post that includes recent news along with upcoming events and actions.
Occasionally, we'll send additional reminders to subsets of our list (for instance if there's a meeting coming up in Crossville, we may send a special reminder to all the folks in Crossville.
Occasional text messages about major events or meetings and/or reminders about meetings you've signed up for

We DO NOT share your information outside of our organization without explicit permission. If at any time you wish to opt-out, use the "opt-out" button at the bottom of our email communications, or reply "STOP" on text messages. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to info@socm.org.
